Modern Luxury Firm is King Koil's TENCEL-surfaced innerspring in its most supportive build - lavender-infused memory foam over an individually encased coil system, finished with hand-applied button tufting.
Who it's for:
Back and stomach sleepers, and anyone replacing a mattress that has developed a dip. A firm build resists body impressions longer than a plush one, which matters most if you have been sleeping in the same spot for years.
How it feels:
Level and responsive. The TENCEL fibers at the surface stretch and breathe, so the top of the mattress feels cool to the touch, and the individually encased coils keep movement on one side from carrying across.
Firm or Medium?
This is the more supportive of the two Modern Luxury builds. If you sleep on your side, or you want more give at the shoulder, look at the Modern Luxury Medium instead - same materials, softer feel. Both are worth trying back to back in the showroom.
